Stable Cottage is a luxury two bedroom self catering holiday cottage set in a quiet village and surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for a relaxing holiday or a walking holiday, exploring the natural woodland and forests in the area.

Situated on a working farm down a quiet lane in the peaceful medieval hamlet of Mavesyn Ridware, nr Rugeley the cottage was formerly a stable which has been converted into detached self catering accommodation, whilst retaining many traditional features such as open roof trusses. With two bedrooms, an open plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen, it provides all the comfort you need on your holiday.

Walking Holidays

The holiday cottage is ideally located for walking holidays throughout the Peak District, and provides an excellent base from which you can explore the historic cathedral city of Lichfield, The National Arboretum, Shugborough and Drayton Manor, and also gives easy access to Alton Towers. For those who enjoy walking or cycling Cannock Chase and The Peak District National Park are easily accessible.

Parking is available adjacent to the cottage for up to two cars. There is also a small garden with patio and garden furniture.

Close to many local historic estates including Chatsworth House, Shugborough Hall and Sudbury Hall.
Village shop, pub and take away restaurant within one mile at Hill Ridware.

The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, electric cooker, washing machine, microwave and a good range of cutlery and crockery.
